RANGE
Not one style. Many.
Deena does not stick to one kind of yoga. Anything powerful she loves. Anything funky she loves. She teaches power flow, vinyasa, gentle, chair, wheel, flexibility work and more, and she picks what fits the person in front of her.
One of the things she offers is Yoga Dance. She is the first teacher of it in Jordan. The choreographies are her own. It is one part of what she does, not the whole of it.
IN AMMAN
Taught at venues across Amman
Deena is based in Amman. She does not own a studio. She teaches at other people's venues and in private sessions.
Her own school hired her right after she graduated, and she has taught at clubs and specialist studios since. Most of her work now is private.
HOW SHE TEACHES
Built to a peak pose, safely
Deena plans each sequence around a theme or peak pose so it builds to it safely. She demonstrates, breaks down technique, and helps you find your own version of a pose with props if you need them. She is careful about safe practice and injury prevention. Students in their first ever class, or ones who had struggled with an awkward pose, often nail it on the first try.
Classes
Deena teaches a full range, aiming for a complete balance of strength, mobility and flexibility through the whole body. She offers modifications for different levels and physical limitations using props.

RETREATS
Where yoga meets travel
Her retreats come from two of her loves, the practice of yoga and the magic of travel. The Marrakech edition, The Red City, was a ladies-only yoga and culture week in a private villa. See it as the worked example of what a retreat with her is.
CREDENTIALS
Trained and registered
Deena holds an RYT-200 from a 200-hour teacher training at Over The Rainbow Yoga Studio in Amman, registered with Yoga Alliance under ID 223119. She has also completed Yoga Dance teacher training and studied practical Ayurveda.
